Since I began the program with Alok, I eat much healthier food than before. I am attracted to better food. Much more cooking than before – this is a positive change. I care more about myself. I’m being more assertive in service of myself. I have more respect towards myself. I’ve learned how to figure out my boundaries and how to assert them.
I’ve learned to give myself permission to focus on myself, my health, and what’s best for me. I now acknowledge that it is worth the time and energy to become educated about other foods and choices.
I enjoyed learning about new and different foods, balances of food, and what different foods have to offer. I also enjoyed trying new things that were suggested during the sessions and at the cooking classes.
